Join us on our journey to A Place Called Gethsemane

Our prayer is to move beyond the geography, history, and sentimentality of Gethsemane to focus on the relationship of this place to the person and work of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. This week we will observe Jesus by looking at His actions, behavior, and words in a place called Gethsemane.

After the public prayer of John 17, “When Jesus had spoken these words, He went out with His disciples over the Brook Kidron, where there was a garden, which He and His disciples entered.” John 18:1.

The account of Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane, tells of the intense struggles Jesus endures during the night before He went to the cross of Calvary.
