Faith Silences the External
Psalm 42:5-7
5 Why are you cast down, O my soul, and why are you in turmoil within me? Hope in God; for I shall again praise him, my salvation 6 and my God. My soul is cast down within me; therefore I remember you from the land of Jordan and of Hermon, from Mount Mizar.

ACTON: Yesterday we saw how remembering brought pain to the psalmist. Today however he is choosing to remember the goodness of God. Remembering is one way to have hope and peace during the journey from problem to praise. On the following page write some of the ways God delivered you in the past. In your journals write a prayer of thanksgiving to the LORD. Share your creation and/or the prayer of thanksgiving.
